Jockey Club Catering triumphed at the National Racecourse Catering Awards last week, receiving five awards and two Certificates of Merit,during the ceremony held at The Jockey Club’s Newmarket Racecourse.
The day saw racecourses from across the country join together to celebrate catering achievements throughout the year. Jockey Club Catering accolades include the Development and Education award for Epsom Downs Racecourse, the People’s Choice award for Cheltenham Racecourse, the Best Bar accolade for the newly refurbished Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar at Aintree Racecourse, and the Best Wine List went to Epsom Downs Racecourse for their list at Chez Roux. Finally, Jockey Club Catering’s supplier Molson Coors Brewing Co. was acknowledged as Best Drinks Supplier.
Certificates of Merit were also presented to Nottingham Racecourse for its owners and trainers bar, and Sandown Park Racecourse for its Legends offering in the Best Casual Dining category.

Jockey Club Catering is a joint venture between The Jockey Club, the largest commercial group in British racing, and Compass Group UK & Ireland. The joint venture was launched in 2009 with the aim of providing premium quality catering at all 15 of The Jockey Club racecourses. In 2013, the exclusive partnership was extended until at least 2025.
