Cowes Week Keith Prowse Levy UK

Keith Prowse is partnering with sailing experts Sunsail and event specialists EMG to create spectacular sailing packages for Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week - 8-15 August 2015 - that will take guests closer to the action than ever before.

Sailing has enjoyed a rise in popularity, helped greatly by the inspiring achievements of people such as Ellen MacArthur who has broken records to make Great Britain the most successful sailing nation at The Olympics Running since 1826. Aberdeen Asset Management (AAM) Cowes Week now stages up to 40 races daily for around 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. This event offers new hospitality offerings that will create memories worth sharing.

As the UK’s leading hospitality provider, with more than 20 official appointments nationwide, Keith Prowse is perfectly positioned to bring a new hospitality twist to this historic past time. Combining Sunsail’s yachting knowledge with EMG’s event management experience, the hospitality packages can let guests race like a pro-yachtsman or cruise amongst the race yachts, soaking up the stunning views of the Solent. Hospitality packages include the finest food and drink including a Champagne breakfast, gourmet buffet lunch* and afternoon teas.

Prices for the AAM Cowes Week race charter packages are available by the day, or for the week, and start from £1,950 a day for up to 10 guests. This includes breakfast on the exclusive Sunsail hospitality area of the Events Centre balcony, a meet and greet with the skippers*, a practice sail and yacht familiarisation, plus racing at the helm of a Sunsail Match First 40 race yacht. Après sail in the marina village will see prize giving and include live music and entertainment, as racers compare stories in the world-famous beer tent. Dinner, accommodation and return transport to the mainland can also be arranged.

Sam Coates, head of marketing for Keith Prowse, says: “Working in partnership with specialist brands such as Sunsail and EMG, ensures we can provide guests with the comfort and luxury of the highest quality food and beverages, while putting them at the centre of the action. All levels of sailors are catered for, so whether our guests are absolute beginners or seasoned sea dogs, all visitors will be able to join the start line for a race to remember!”

Keith Prowse is a business subsidiary of Levy Restaurants UK and is constantly challenging and innovating the hospitality market. This progressive attitude to corporate entertainment has recently seen Keith Prowse acquire contracts where it has gained official supplier status at headline sporting events, namely the Aegon Championships, Chelsea Football Club and Investec Derby Festival.
