Our Bento Boxes at the Barbican

Our customers are at the fore of each creative decision we make at Levy Restaurants UK and, this month, we’ve introduced Showstopping Suppers to Europe’s largest multi-arts and conference venue, the Barbican Centre.
 
As catering partners at the Barbican, where we run The Foodhall and Lounge, we have brought the high-street’s popular street food trend to the heart of the London venue. The suppers are available during the Barbican’s live screenings of the Metropolitan Opera and are served in convenient bento boxes.
 
We’ve created a choice of three delicious menu options including smoked chicken with chickpea and feta cheese salad, and tomato and pea shoot salad; lemon-glazed poached salmon served with a green bean and new potato salad; and Mediterranean salad, encompassing marinated cheese with Kalamata olives, roasted peppers and a red onion tomato salad. All meals are also served with a deep filled lemon tart with seasonal fruit compote and clotted cream, and a glass of red or white wine, or soft drink on request. These suppers have been especially designed for guests to easily collect from the foyer before being able to enjoy their meal as they watch the performances. 
 
It’s these ideas that place focus on our customers, offering food and drink experiences that complement and enhance their visit to our venues.
