How long have we worked together?

Our partnership goes back over 30 years, a relationship that was founded by Prue Leith CBE. 

Visitors:

Over 400 events are staged annually; from intimate boardroom meetings overlooking Parliament Square to high-security international symposiums drawing up to 2,500 guests.

Opened in 1986 by HM The Queen, the QEII Centre has been a trusted destination for events for over 30 years, with an unrivalled reputation for excellence and exceptional customer service.

The venue offers world-class facilities for high-profile conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners and corporate events for up to 2,500 delegates, hosting more than 450 national and international events every year.

With stunning views of Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, unbeatable transport, links, 32 versatile event spaces and a 250sqm lawn, the modern, vibrant QEII Centre brings events to life in the very heart of London. 

Client Objectives: 

Following a strategic review, the venue developed a comprehensive building master plan to establish the QEII Centre as London’s finest specialist events venue, renowned for delivering professional, award-winning events that puts the needs of the client at the heart of their philosophy.

New concepts in conference and events catering, like Leith’s smart food menus to help concentration and improve productivity throughout the day, complement the original architecture and provides practical and innovative solutions to improve the visitor experience.

Results: 

Re-design of The Sanctuary is a new concept on the ground floor that draws on high street trends. Barista made coffees, sustainably sourced teas and post-work cocktails are on offer in the calm Scandi style space.   

New head chef, Jean-Michel Viala joined QEII Taste at the end of 2016 from The Dorchester, his arrival coincided with the QEII Centre celebrating its 30th anniversary, as well as a £12million refurbishment and rebrand.
