Operating at many of racing’s blue ribbon events, Jockey Club Catering delivers exceptional raceday experiences through expanding its variety of food and drink offerings and service styles. Jockey Club Catering continues to focus on creating unique experiences.

Through working with prestigious chef, Albert Roux OBE, and his son, chef and restaurateur Michel Roux Jnr the partnership operated the Fairlawne restaurant at Cheltenham Racecourse during The Festival and Chez Roux on the Prince’s Lawn at the Investec Derby Festival. Following the success of both festivals, the Roux’s will again return to the racecourses in 2015.

Jockey Club Catering has also focused on social responsibility and has formed strong relationships with communities regionally, and invested in food projects that support local producers and suppliers. This year, a notable partnership was created as Jockey Club Catering launched a competition with South Thames College and sponsor, Investec inviting its Hospitality and Catering Academy students to create menus to be served at next year’s Investec Derby Festival (5-6 June 2015), held at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

With people at the heart of the business, JCC at Aintree launched its very own training academy and directly recruited over 2,000 local employees for the Crabbe’s Aintree Grand National. Following Compass’ Thousand Detail Dining programme, employees were provided the opportunity for young people to gain vital work experience at a renowned venue with one of its most prestigious events; Aintree trained the individuals in different hospitality areas in preparation for the Grand National which welcomed, in total around 155,000 guests.
