Matthew Thompson is MD of Levy Restaurants, Compass UK & Ireland, and a member of the Executive Committee.
He joined the company in June 2007, since which he has led the re-invigoration of this key division. With a focus on partnership, food and service, the business has built on its market leadership position and is continually developing its reputation for quality, innovation and reliability. Previously Matthew was Commercial Director for a large international energy company, and before this had a variety of roles from managing internet based businesses to leading the acquisition of The AA.
He lives in London, and is married with five children.

James Withers is Finance Director of Levy Restaurants and joined the team in July 2012.
Prior to this he has worked for Compass UK in a variety of roles for 14 years in both central support roles and commercial business roles. Most recently he spent 4 years as Finance Director for the Healthcare business. James is a qualified Chartered Accountant having trained with Deloitte.
He lives in Walsall with his wife and two children.

Colin has over 20 years experience in Director level roles in both retail and hospitality, the majority of which was spent in a number of different roles with Greenalls Group, which developed into De Vere Group PLC‚ working across wine shop, café, pub, restaurant, hotel and leisure sectors.
Considerable experience of the C&E market leading such venues as The Grand Brighton, The Belfry, and Hayley conference centres to name but a few.
Colin also ran the Village hotel and leisure company, which doubled in size during 2002 and 2007 and contributed over £40m profit to the Group.
In addition to current MD role with JCC and Leisure for Compass, Colin also heads up Lime Venue Portfolio working with Jo Austin, as Head of Sales, who is a leading figure from the C&E world having held Sales Director positions at both PH and Q hotels.

Andy's day to day role is to provide the senior direction and support to the management teams and venues within the sport, arena and exhibition sector. Andy is also responsible for developing creative solutions and initiating developments that can be rolled out across the portfolio.
Andy led the team that introduced and implemented Levy Restaurants in to The 0² Arena and is the executive sponsor for the Levy Restaurants brand in the UK. Andy's aim is to ensure we deliver fantastic food and service for clients and customers, to achieve success for all parties and build a great reputation in the sport and arena market.
Andy's career began at the Earls Court and Olympia exhibition centres and in 1999 he led the management buyout from the P&O group, selling the company on in early 2002.
Andy then joined the Compass Group and was tasked with improving the food and service provision at the ExCel exhibition centre in east London. Within eighteen months Andy was asked to manage the portfolio of exhibition and conference centres that Compass had amassed. This included the QEII Centre in London, The SECC in Glasgow and G Mex (Manchester Central Convention Complex) in Manchester.
Andy has overseen major refurbishment and redevelopment projects including the £30m refit of Wembley Arena, the opening of The O², design and planning for new facilities at The Kia Oval and Edgbaston cricket grounds and is also involved in the design and planning of the Glasgow Arena due to open in 2014 working with Levy Restaurants.

After a brief Professional Cricketing career with Middlesex CCC, Neil was a founding partner of Peter Parfitt Sport Ltd (PPS) in 1987.
PPS pioneered the portable corporate viewing box facility concept in the late 1980's and negotiated contracts with The Rugby Football Union, Surrey County Cricket Club, The European Tour, Cheltenham National Hunt Ltd and Silverstone Circuits Ltd to name just a few.
Neil's role within the PPS business was to generate new business through contract wins with Sporting bodies and develop the sales strategy in the corporate market.
Through his time at PPS Neil developed various tiers of corporate packages for the market as well as working on the official hospitality programmes for the 1999 IRB Rugby World Cup and 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup both of which were hosted in the UK.
In 2004 Compass Group acquired PPS and integrated it into its Sport, Leisure and Hospitality division now renamed as Levy Restaurants.
Neil's responsibilities within Levy Restaurants are primarily focused on contract wins and retention whilst continuing to develop relationships with existing and new customers.

Sue joined Compass Group in June 1981 and held a number of operational roles for both corporate and commercial clients before moving in to a sales role in 1998. After a number of successful years in sales, Sue was promoted to Account Retention Director for the business & industry sector within Compass. In October 2007, Sue was appointed Strategic Partnership Director for our Sports, Leisure & Hospitality division. She lives in Hampshire and has one daughter.

Jo's role is to understand the different consumer groups and develop targeted retail offers at each venue. With over thirteen years of retail experience, Jo has a passion for developing quality and innovative propositions delivered with excellent customer service.
Jo joined the company in June 2008 from Entertainment UK where she was head of sales and marketing and instrumental in helping the supermarkets grow their entertainment sales.

Debbie Brown is Head of HR for Levy Restaurants, Compass UK & Ireland and a member of the Levy Restaurants UK Executive team.
Debbie joined the company in May 2008 working in a central role with direct responsibility for 12 HR Business Partners who work across all sectors of the UK & Ireland Portfolio; Business & Industry, Healthcare, Education, Levy Restaurants and Defence. Lately Debbie is heading up the HR function within Levy Restaurants UK. With a focus on managing talent, capability and true business partnering Debbie and her team take the lead on resourcing, developing and managing the performance of exceptional people who will go on to work at some of the biggest events and venues in the world. Previously Debbie was Lead HR Business Partner for a large UK retail business and managed a team of HR professionals for a very well known internet business.
Debbie lives in Liverpool, and is married with two children.
